Overview:
The role of Coordinator, ILS Operations is to execute day to day operations connected to the customer's Canada contract. Reporting to the customers' Operations Team leads, team Supervisors and Management team. This role will liaise closely with customers and vendors along with the ILS Management to ensure compliance of logistics requirements to achieve the highest level operations and customer service excellence. This role will use the client documentation and APLL standard operating procedures and government issued documentation to provide a high level service within the contract timelines. This roles first level escalation point will be through team leads and supervisors and assist with any issue resolution enabling customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
This position is responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
Execute day-to-day operational activities according to requirements and KPI to obtain high customer satisfaction.Identify recurring internal process failures/redundancies/problems.Review and resolve all customer's enquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.Understanding of APLL system to interpret, input and resolve discrepant data.Liaise with Customer and co-ordinate operational requirements occurring globally.Ensure close co-ordination with vendors and customer for smooth operations.Use any APLL documentation and provide input to any enhancements to these documents Provide excellent customer service support and co-ordination of bookings thru the supply chain.Joint calls with customer service team to customer/vendor to build rapport, strengthen business relationship, review process and seek business opportunities.Report and review non-compliance with Supervisor, Service Integrity or Global origin teams.Confirm all required documentation compliance is completed for cargo movement to Canada locations. (Transportation is not part of the contract).Ensure all government requirements for transit documentation is met and available to the customer for easy and fast movement through country borders. (Transportation is not part of the contract).Participate in implementation of new process/procedures based on customerGeneral Experience
Preferred 1 – 2 years working experience in Customer Service and/or Logistics/Freight ForwardingSpeaks English and FrenchAdditional Skills
Possess Customer Service mindset and passion for service excellence.Ability to work well under pressure independently, perform and manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.Strong organizational and planning skills.Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Suite Products (MS Word, EXCEL, etc.) and technically savvy.Additional Knowledge & Abilities
