The well-capitalized company will have significant scale as a pure-play set of assets anchored by leading news, sports and entertainment content. The spin-off is expected to be completed during 2025. The Universal Television Entertainment Group (UTEG) HR team at NBCUniversal is looking for a high-energy, results-driven and innovative HR Coordinator. The role is a perfect launch pad for someone interested in a career in HR providing experience in both generalist and specialist work. Universal Television Entertainment Group is responsible for world-class television entertainment. The portfolio is comprised of NBCUniversal's broadcast, cable and streaming platforms, NBC, Bravo and Peacock, as well as the powerhouse television production business, Universal Studio Group. In this role, you will support HR Leadership and a diverse group of employees across television including Scripted & Unscripted Programming, Legal, Business Affairs, Casting, Live Events, Program Planning, Production and Operations, Inclusion, Late Night and Communications.  You will also have exposure to projects that span onboarding, rewards and recognition, performance feedback, talent attraction and development, and HR’s business impact.  In the day to day, you will help solve problems involving: Benefits, Payroll, Compensation, HR Operations, Talent Acquisition, Finance and Data Analytics.  Responsibilities:   + Serve as primary expert for all HR systems and manage employee lifecycle transactions, including new hires, terminations, transfers, leaves of absence, pay changes, promotions, time keeping actions, and organizational updates + Handle administrative duties assigned in support of HR Leadership, including but not limited to, scheduling meetings and phone calls, processing expense reports, arranging travel, etc. + Prepare job requisitions for open positions and own staffing for early career programs and roles utilizing SmartRecruiters, SAP, and ClickBoarding + Support cross-portfolio initiatives including merit planning, bonus planning, performance management, succession planning, and learning and development programming + Own people analytics and generate meaningful metrics and tell a story with data for our complex organization   + Maintain organizational charts and ensure data accuracy across systems   + Support planning and logistics for team meetings, trainings, and employee and intern events  + Maintain all employee related files and organizational systems + Stay informed on changes to company policies, procedures, and employment regulations + Collaborate with cross-functional HR teams (Payroll, Finance, Compensation, Benefits) to resolve day-to-day employee issues and general HR inquiries + Keep the team ahead of the curve through proactive industry awareness and research  Basic Requirements: + Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field  + 1+ years of experience in a professional work setting  Desired Characteristics: + Service Minded – You put employee needs first and you’re proactively thinking about how to enhance the employee experience. + Systems savvy – You’re proficient with MS Power Point, Excel, Word, Outlook and intuitively navigate HR systems  + Analytical – You’ve never met a data point you didn’t like. You enjoy telling stories and drawing insights through numbers   + Communicates with ease – Your written and verbal communication is clear and thoughtful. + Agile - Extremely flexible and able to shift priorities and manage several work streams as needed   + Resourceful – If you don’t have the answer, you figure it out.
