Summary of position:

Under direction of Manager based in Hong Kong, this individual shall assist the team in Hong Kong and the US in all aspects of managing the Global Themed Entertainment (GTE) category within the APAC territory. This role would be primarily focusing on Theme Parks, Location Based Entertainment, and overall GTE development and management.

Job Responsibilities:

Effectively communicate, promote, and advocate for GTE strategy and goals

Assists team with project management responsibilities including but not limited to:

Cross-departmental stakeholders (Franchise Marketing, PR, Legal, Finance, Product Development, Brand Assurance, DC & WBCP) coordination and work flow management to ensure all work is completed efficiently and on schedule as well as cross-divisional  (Studio Facilities, WBTV, WBIE, WBHE, Theatrical Promotions) coordination as required

Meeting management and note-taking

Project team reviews and approvals

Assists with business and financial processes related to new business development, including information gathering, due diligence, submission, and tracking of business, financial, and legal information throughout the deal pipeline

Maintains department/project tracking documentation

Assists with creation of presentations for GTE meetings

Coordinates licensee forecasting and reporting

Research projects as needed

Facilitates contract modifications and deal requisitions and tracks through execution

Assist with administrative tasks as needed

Assist in translation work as needed

Performs other duties as assigned

Requirements:

1 - 2 years previous entertainment intern or coordination experience preferred

Bachelor’s degree in entertainment, business, or related field, or equivalent work experience required

Demonstrate high level of written and verbal communication skills; excellent command of both spoken and written English and Chinese including Mandarin is a must

Knowledge of licensing industry a plus

Knowledge of WB IP preferred

Computer Skills: MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Adobe Acrobat required. Adobe Creative Suite a plus.

Effective and proven administrative, communication, as well as people-management skills required

Other Requirements:

Capability to work virtually and with a global team across multiple time zones

Must have the ability to communicate effectively and tactfully internally and externally, with senior management and all other levels of personnel, and across international markets

Must be tech savvy

Must be detail oriented, thorough, adaptable, and high-capacity

Must have the ability to organize, prioritize, and schedule work effectively

Must have the ability to work well under time constraints and in high pressure situations

Must have the ability to take own initiative and work independently as well as work as a team player

Must be interested in a career in themed entertainment

Must be confident and professional
