Comcast NBCUniversal has announced its intent to create a new publicly traded company ('Versant') comprised of most of NBCUniversal's cable television networks, including USA Network, CNBC, MSNBC, Oxygen, E!, SYFY and Golf Channel along with complementary digital assets Fandango, Rotten Tomatoes, GolfNow, GolfPass, and SportsEngine. The well-capitalized company will have significant scale as a pure-play set of assets anchored by leading news, sports and entertainment content. The spin-off is expected to be completed during 2025.
About the Role
As a key member of the Fair Employment Practices team within the Labor & Employment Department, you’ll play a vital role alongside the Sr. Manager and VP of Fair Employment Training Programs to ensure the seamless delivery of training programs that promote respect and inclusion across NBCUniversal. From managing logistics and coordinating with stakeholders to tracking outcomes and maintaining documentation, your work will directly support our mission to foster a workplace where everyone feels valued and empowered.
What You’ll Do
+ Coordinate logistics for training sessions, including booking venues and trainers
+ Track attendance, gather feedback, and document training outcomes
+ Maintain and update training calendars, schedules, and agendas
+ Develop new processes to streamline the execution of training programs
+ Send reminders, manage rescheduling, and provide administrative support to keep programs on track
+ Respond to employee inquiries regarding training opportunities, registration, and eligibility
+ Collaborate with internal departments and external vendors to ensure smooth program delivery
+ Draft and maintain standard operating procedures and training documentation
+ As needed, support other members of the Labor & Employment division on calendar scheduling, special projects and initiatives
Basic Requirements:
+ Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
+ At least 2 years in an administrative, training coordination, or project support role
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
+ Strong organizational and communication skills
Desired Characteristics:
+ Experience in a corporate training or HR environment
+ Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) or HR Information Systems (HRIS)
+ Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently
+ High attention to detail and a proactive, problem-solving mindset
+ Highly attuned analytic, communication, organization, and project management skills
+ Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
+ Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to work well in a team environment
+ Experience supporting multiple executives or stakeholders in a fast-paced setting
+ Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines
+ Experience working with global stakeholders
Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the Universal City, CA office a minimum of three days per week.
This position is eligible for company-sponsored benefits, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k), paid leave, tuition reimbursement, and a variety of other perks. Learn more on the NBCUniversal Careers site. Salary range: $50,000 - $70,000.
