Team Overview and Job Responsibilities:
We are looking for a Raw Material Coordinator to join our team.
Based in Sorocaba, Brazil, you will be responsible for coordinating the Raw Material Planning team across two plants, ensuring alignment with the Production Plan. This role also involves managing stock levels, and leading the development, implementation, and monitoring of strategies to handle slow-moving and obsolete materials.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate raw material planning activities for both plants, ensuring timely availability of materials according to production needs.Monitor and control inventory levels to avoid shortages or excess stock.Develop and implement strategies to manage slow-moving and obsolete inventory.Collaborate with Procurement, Production, and Supply Chain teams to ensure efficient material flow.Analyze material consumption trends and forecast future needs.Lead continuous improvement initiatives related to raw material planning and inventory management.Prepare and present reports and KPIs to support decision-making.Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related fields.Proven experience in raw material planning or supply chain coordination.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.) and Microsoft Excel.Excellent communication and leadership skills.Fluent in Portuguese; English proficiency is a plus.Prysmian , as an Equal Opportunity Employer, aims to attract and recruit individuals with diverse backgrounds, skills, and abilities.
