Apply today for our Coord OR Svc Line RN opportunity. **Job Summary and Qualifications** The Coordinator is responsible for the delivery of safe, effective and quality patient-family centered care in the Operating Room (OR) and other areas of the perioperative services for all patient populations. What you will do in this role: + Expertise in the area of Operating room specialty The coordinator provides expertise care and management of the perioperative specialty. + Patient Rights The RN will work to support and protect the rights of each patient served. Adheres to established hospital and department guidelines & protocols. Supports hospital mission, vision and values. + Patient/Family Education Provides patient/family education as per department and hospital policy and procedure. + Job Knowledge The RN demonstrates technical expertise in areas appropriate to the Unit’s patient population. + Equipment Usage Uses and maintains department equipment according to department and hospital policies. + Information Management/PI Uses and follows hospital and department standards pertaining to information management and performance improvement. + Safety & Disaster Supports Hospital's/Department’s Safety and Disaster Plans. + Age Specific Criteria Communicates and interacts with internal and external customers of various ages taking into consideration the population served. + Attendance Supports hospital and department objectives by adhering to attendance policies. + Attitude/Cooperation Reflects values and a sensitivity to HCA's ethical and compliance principles in daily activities. Collaborates with management in the formulation of solutions for resolving areas of concern. **What qualifications you will need:** + Current Florida license as Registered Nurse or Recognized Compact Licensure (subject to Florida State Licensing Requirements, including/not limited to ongoing eligibility and duration provisions) + Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification or must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date + Current Basic Cardiac Life Support certification or must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date + 2 Years Associate Degree/Diploma + 4 years Bachelor Degree preferred + 1 year minimum experience in OR HCA Florida Mercy Hospital is a 488-bed facility. We are designated by the Joint Commission as a Primary Stroke Center. Other specialties include maternity and neonatal care. We are a Level II NICU hospital.
