The Village at Proprietors Green (VPG) is a well-established (149-unit) Luxury Apartment Senior Living Community offering a continuum of Independent, Assisted Living and Memory Care apartments in Marshfield MA with a strong reputation of caring and empathy. We are part of Welch Senior Living, a family-owned provider of Senior services for over 75 years. If you have a passion for providing exceptional meals for our Senior population, we are seeking a Lunch and Dinner COOK. This position reports to the Executive Chef. This is a full-time (40 hour) position: Monday, Tuesday and Friday from 10:30am to 7pm and Saturday and Sunday from 6am to 2:30pm. Essential Functions: Serves meals by reviewing recipes; assembling, combining, and cooking ingredients; and maintaining a sanitary kitchen. Executes hot and cold food production in accordance with standards of plating guide specifications. Attends to the detail and presentation of each order. Places and expedites orders. Requirements: Must have food service training with at least 2 to 3 years of previous food service experience in a Restaurant, Assisted Living or Health related facility. A knowledge of food handling, storage and sanitation.
