The Hilton Cabana Miami Beach Resort is seeking a full-time cook to join their culinary team! Overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, the hotel offers direct access to the beach and the nine-mile Miami Beachwalk.
\n\nIdeal candidate has previous line cook experience, good knife skills, hotel/hospitality experience, previous experience in a fast pace and high volume kitchen and the ability to work well under pressure. Banquets experience is highly preferred but not required
\n\n\nShift Pattern: variable with typical shift times from 2:30-10:30pm or 3-11pm. Weekend/holiday availability required.

\nWhat will I be doing?
\n\nPrepare food items according to designated recipes and quality standards\nMaintain cleanliness and comply with food sanitation standards at all times\nManage guest orders in a friendly, timely and efficient manner\nEnsure knowledge of menu and all food products\nStock and maintain designated food station(s)\nVisually inspect all food sent from the kitchen\nPractice correct food handling and food storage procedures according to federal, state, local and company regulations\nPrepare requisitions for supplies and food items, as needed\nWhat are we looking for?
