Qualifications
Two years Food Service experience required. Cooking experience is strongly preferred. High School Diploma, GED or equivalent combination of education and experience.Current (within the past 12 months) ServSafe® Allergen and Food Handler Certifications. If not currently certified, certification to be obtained within 30 days of hire.

Overview

As a Cook at St. Vincent, you will support the healing process by preparing meals and menu items for our patients, their visitors, and their caregivers. 

To be successful as a cook, you should be able to use various cooking techniques and methods to prepare meals that meet our customers’ expectations. Ultimately, a top-notch cook should be able to handle multiple food orders without compromising on quality. You also understand that cooking for patients requires extra diligence with sanitation protocols.
