Job Description

Prepare high-quality food items according to standardized recipes and instructions to meet production, delivery, and service schedules. Serve meals or prepare for delivery using correct portioning, ensuring that food is at the correct temperature, is attractive, and tasty. Taste all prepared food items and utilize established ticket collection procedures during service. Maintain records from the area worked during service periods, clean the kitchen after preparation and serving, and store or discard excess food in accordance with safe food-handling procedures.

Work Environment

Various shifts including 1st and 2nd shifts are available. All shifts are determined by a shift bid due to the site being unionized.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Washington, District of Columbia.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.50/hr.
