The Opportunity:

Four Seasons Hotel Silicon Valley is currently looking for a Cook 3.

Essential function of the job: ​

Basic knowledgeable of culinary operations, a team player, hard worker, and detail orientedKnowledgeable in classic and modern cooking methods and techniquesSet up and break down a culinary station efficientlyPrep all ingredients and station to Chef's standardsEnsure station is clean and sanitizedMust be able to maintain consistent and correct plate presentationMaintains complete knowledge of and complies with all departmental policies, service procedures & standardsPrepares a variety of meats, seafood, poultry, vegetables and other food items for the team, and to be ready for serviceAssists with quality and presentation, maintaining cleanliness standards and organization of the kitchen and the restaurant when necessaryMaintain a "clean as you go" work ethicA positive, service-oriented attitude and desire to contribute to a teamAbility to multi-task, prioritize and anticipate guest needs

Qualifications and Skills:

Ideal candidates will have a combination of a culinary degree and work experience or the equivalent work experience in a full service fine dining restaurant, if no culinary degree has been obtained.Passionate about food and previous similar work experienceFlexible schedule to include weekends and holidaysMust be able to work in a fast pace environmentStanding for long periods of timeBending, pushing, and pulling up to 50 lbsMust provide work authorization document - proof of eligibility to work in the United States of America
