Hiring Unit:

Student Housing & Hospitality Services

Under the direction of the Supervisor, assists in the preparation of all food items.

Qualifications Required

- Diploma from an accredited culinary school OR High School Leaving Diploma with three (3) years’ experience as a Cook’s Helper. 

- Ability to read and write English and/or French. 

- Good communication skills.

Knowledge of French and English. McGill University is an English-language university where day to day duties may require English communication both verbally and in writing.

Additional information

Temporary part-time position August 17, 2025 to April 30, 2026. Work hours and location are variable.

Hourly Salary:

$27.37

Hours per Week:

up to 38.75 per week (day, evening, night). Must be available for weekend schedules from Sunday to Saturday, according to needs.

Location:

Bishop Mountain Hall/Royal Victoria College/Douglas Hall, as per need.

Dining Hall Supervisor and/or Chef
