Division Profile:

Wealth Management Client Segments (WMCS) is a division within Morgan Stanley Wealth Management that encompasses our Advisor, Workplace and Digital Direct business lines.  The overall goal of WMCS is to seamlessly serve our clients across all channels to ensure we are meeting them wherever they are on their financial journey, supporting their growth, and deepening relationships over time to ultimately drive growth and innovation across our channels.  The individual businesses within this division include Field Management, Private and International Wealth Management, Morgan Stanley at Work, Client Solutions Group, Institutional Client Solutions, Client Segment Risk, and WM Marketing.

Position Summary:

We are seeking an analyst to support the Wealth Management Client Segments team expansion in Mumbai, India. This individual will support the COO with the program operations and various key business management aspects. 

This role specifically reports to WM Client Segments COO. They will be part of a team that plays a pivotal role across the WM Client Segments Organization looking to drive operational excellence, develop strategic initiatives, optimize processes, streamline operations, as well as create consistent and reliable reporting for internal stakeholders and assist management with data-driven business solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Key responsibilities will include but will not be limited to the following:

Assist COO and onshore partners with tracking recruiting, training materials, and onboarding of new staff.

Create leadership presentations, ability to effectively communicate and present to stakeholders will also be critical to success of the team.

Offer flexible, cross-functional support to the U.S. based team as needed.

Create metrics for operational efficiencies. The role requires an individual with strong analytical skills, comfort working with large datasets, tools to create metrics, cadent, visualize data and the ability to effectively communicate for project planning.

Collect, monitor, and reconcile KPI/ OKR reporting for each role in the program and provide insights to drive performance improvements and data-informed decision making.

Promote a culture of inclusivity, high performance, and continuous improvement.

Develop governance/reporting framework for providing status updates to WMP onshore leadership

Experience:

Bachelor’s degree required.

1-3 years of experience in Wealth Management operations or related roles in the financial services industry.

COO team experience preferred.

Required Skills:

Strong analytical & critical reasoning skills, an ability to effectively summarize datasets. Prior experience with visualization skills (like Tableau) is preferred.

Expertise with Microsoft suite of products Excel, PowerPoint

Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.

Ability to work collaboratively across teams and senior stakeholders.

Strong analytical & critical reasoning skills.

Ability to work with global and cross-functional teams.

Strong leadership skills with the ability to drive change and foster a culture of accountability and excellence.
