The Global Investment Office (GIO) is a 250+ person team that serves as a resource for Financial Advisors to leverage for all matters related to financial planning, investment advice and implementation. GIO is the advisor's advisor, with capabilities ranging from asset allocation, manager due diligence and portfolio construction guidance to specialty research including thematic, macro and impact investing. Morgan Stanley Wealth Management supports a wide swath of clients, and GIO offers customized tools, resources and insights for the unique needs and considerations of each segment, from active traders and digital-direct up to ultra-high-net-worth and institutional.
The GIO is seeking a motivated, ambitious, and team-oriented individual to support our content initiatives. This role will be part of the COO Team and will play a crucial role in driving the expansion and enhancement of our content tools, resources, and insights. Responsibilities
The COO Analyst will support the development and promotion of GIO content and will participate in various general strategic initiatives. The analyst will gain an understanding of advice platforms, publications, and delivery mechanisms as well as work with authors on their content. Key responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:
Implement and manage strategies for content initiatives, aligning them with business objectives and user experience principlesDevelop and execute communications strategies for key thought leadership pieces, website launches, strategic initiatives, etc.Partner with marketing team on branding and promotion of content; collaborate with stakeholders across the firm to implement content segmentation strategy and to expand/enhance content tools, resources, and insightsProduce high-quality collateral and manage daily publishing operations related to key publications and franchises, including writing, proofreading/editing, and regulatory reviewOversee the creation and publishing of video and audio content, as well as summary documentsOversee layout of reports and email communications for key thought leadership piecesCreate presentations for the COO team and CIO Head of GIO, to present to various audiences and groups Update Monthly GIO Scorecard used by CIO to communicate department progress with senior leadershipSupport the COO team on key projects and participate in broader department strategic initiativesLeverage data to track and analyze engagement efforts, identify user needs, and measure impact—including partnering with regional and branch sales teams to identify and target potential focus areasQualifications

Expected base pay rates for the role will be between 58,000 and 115,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs
