Our client, based in San Diego, CA is seeking assistance for an upcoming convention for multiple positions including stockers, packers, security/line control, team leads, and mascots. On-site attendance for entire duration of the convention is required.
Dates/Hours:
Wednesday July 23rd: 3:00 PM - 9:30 PMThursday July 24th: 8:00 AM - 7:00 PMFriday July 25th: 8:00 AM - 7:00 PMSaturday July 26th: 8:00 AM - 7:00 PMSunday July 27th: 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM
Information about different positions:
Stocker - Assist with all products. Additional duties as assigned.
Assist with booth deliveries, unload deliveries (600+ boxes a day), and store appropriately in the stock room.Sorting and organizing inventory, stocking shelves, breaking down cardboard, and taking out garbage cans.Utilize best practices for storage, identification, and stock location - considering height and weight limits, turnover, and stock room.Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of merchandise, using product knowledge in relevant and creative ways to organize stock room by category.Ringer/Packer - Understand P.O.S. equipment, product items, payment, and receipt functions. Additional duties as assigned.
Greet customers and provide extraordinary customer service.Complete Point-Of-Sale transactions.Efficient bag products and include any promotional products as instructed. Do not damage product packaging.Be considerate and work in cooperation with other Ringers to gather and bag products. It is a small space.Keep the countertop clean and free of clutter, trash, etc. Transfer trash to the outside of booth receptacles as instructed.Ensure the customer receives a maximum of one per exclusive unless Booth Management makes an announcement otherwise.Ensure the customer receives all the products purchased.Communicate to the customer that all sales are final before leaving the register. No trades or returns after purchase.Line Control/Security - maintain order, safety, and fire safety guidelines, and provide information to guest inquiries regarding products, times, convention hours, etc. Additional duties as assigned.
Maintain the integrity of the line. People will wait for hours. Acknowledge their dedication and loyalty with appreciation and consideration.Ensure attendees know when and where to queue for the booth for their timeslot.Ensure attendees have the appropriate booth entry documentation, if applicable.One entry per code. No additional guests may enter except for unaccompanied minors.All guests may attend after completion of the scheduled entries - general admission.
Dress Code:
Jeans or slacks on the bottom (no rips, no see-through leggings, no basketball shorts), staff shirt that will be provided upon arrival, and comfortable shoes.
Rate:
