Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Controls Technician responsible for designing, building, developing, and installing control panels for burners. This role offers the unique opportunity to travel across the United States and engage in exciting new challenges within a growing organization.
ResponsibilitiesDesign and build control panels for burners.Develop and install control systems using Allen-Bradley technology.Perform PLC programming and troubleshooting.Commission and start up burner control systems.Work with combustion and burner controls, including Honeywell Slate systems.Essential SkillsProficiency in Allen-Bradley technology.Experience with schematic reading and drawing.Expertise in PLC programming and troubleshooting.Strong skills in panel building and design.Ability to commission control systems effectively.Additional Skills & QualificationsKnowledge of combustion and burner controls.Experience with Honeywell Slate systems.Work Environment
This position offers a dynamic work environment that includes both office and field work. The role is flexible to a hybrid setup for individuals living within an hour's drive from Louisville, including cities like Lexington, Cincinnati, and Indianapolis. Travel is significant, ranging from 75-100%, with trips lasting around 2-3 weeks.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $33.00/hr.
