Position Overview
As a Controls System Technician, you’ll troubleshoot and resolve basic mechanical, electrical, and control issues, ensuring systems are calibrated and functioning optimally. This role is ideal for individuals with a strong technical aptitude, a willingness to learn, and a background in digital controls.

Key Responsibilities
Load and configure system-level controller software.
Perform point-to-point troubleshooting and diagnostics from controllers to end devices (sensors, actuators, etc.).
Respond to basic warranty calls and resolve system issues.
Calibrate systems using basic electronic test equipment.
Maintain accurate documentation for commissioning and as-built records.
Complete administrative tasks including time sheets, expense reports, and site documentation.
Follow all safety standards and attend required safety training.

Skills and Requirements
Required:
1-2 years of hands on experience as a controls tech
Demonstrated technical aptitude and hands-on experience with basic computer operations.
Ability to use hand and power tools (e.g., drills, saws).
Attention to detail and strong communication skills.
Willingness to learn and grow within the role.
Background in APC digital controls is a plus. null
