Job Description
- Lead and manage the controls engineering team focused on control systems design, development, and implementation
- Develop and execute strategies for the integration and optimization of control systems in manufacturing processes and equipment
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product development, operations, and quality assurance
- Provide technical support during assembly and manage Final Assembly Test; support field service with remote and onsite technical assistance
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations in all control systems and processes
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Mentor and develop team members
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively
- Prepare and present technical reports and proposals to stakeholders and upper management
- Be the controls engineering subject matter expert, providing guidance and mentorship to the engineering team
**Travel up to 15%
Must Have
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems Engineering, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in control systems engineering, with at least 3 years in a managerial or leadership role
- Strong understanding of process automation and industrial controls
- HMI Programming in the Allen Bradley environment (FTview)
Nice to Have
- Packaging or Food/Beverage automation experience preferred
- Proficient in Allen Bradley environment (RSLogix5, RSLogix500, RSLogix5000, Studio 5000, CCW)
- Previous customer interaction
- Continuous improvement experience
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $120000.00 - $140000.00/yr.
