Job Title: Controls Manager
Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Controls Manager to support the global planning, execution, and coordination of programs for Controls and Software platform solutions related to Engines, Transmissions, Hybrid, Battery, Charging, and eMotor Electronic Control Units. This role presents daily challenges and opportunities for learning and growth.

ResponsibilitiesProvide feasibility and cost assessment for Controls & SW to the vehicle/programs.Represent the Controls System (Controllers and SW) as the primary interface with the Propulsion System Community.Coordinate the development of Controls Features.Define Feature Roll-out Plans that align with overall program milestones and objectives.Play a key role in Controls & SW change management, quality assessment, and risk mitigation.Essential SkillsBachelor/Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering.Minimum of 7 years of engineering experience, with at least 5 years in the automotive industry.Ability to work in an Agile environment.Fluent in English.Proven record of working independently and within a team to deliver high-quality technical solutions.Additional Skills & QualificationsPrevious experience as a Controls/SW developer, testing, or calibration engineer is a plus.Self-starter, vocal, and confident.Proactive, takes ownership, and is accountable.Ability to drive a vehicle as part of job responsibilities.Work Environment

This role involves working in an Agile environment with a supportive team committed to helping you grow. The position requires travel 15% of the time to local Metro Detroit plants. You will be expected to drive a vehicle for testing or transportation within facilities. The work environment is dynamic, and every day presents new learning opportunities.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $49.66 - $49.66/hr.
