Job Title: Controls EngineerJob Description We are seeking a skilled Controls Engineer to join our team and contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of advanced control systems. Responsibilities + Design and develop control systems including PLC Logic, HMI interfaces, and electrical schematics. + Program and configure PLCs such as Allen-Bradley, Siemens, Omron, and Mitsubishi, as well as HMIs for various automation applications. + Collaborate with mechanical and electrical engineering teams to ensure seamless integration of control systems. + Select electrical components for control systems. + Perform I/O checkouts, system validation, and commissioning at client sites. + Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to control systems, sensors, and network communications. + Maintain documentation including wiring diagrams, ladder logic, and system configurations. + Provide technical support and training to clients and internal teams. Essential Skills + 4+ years of controls engineering experience. + Proficiency in programming PLCs, including Allen-Bradley, Siemens, Omron, and Mitsubishi. + Experience with HMI development. + Ability to select components for control systems. + Capability to write PLC programs from scratch. + Robotics experience. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Strong troubleshooting skills in controls engineering. + Experience providing technical support and training. Work Environment This position is primarily office-based, with approximately 10-15% travel to client sites within a 300-mile radius. Most travel will be day trips, although some overnight stays may be required. The office is located in West Chester and offers a collaborative work environment with about 35 team members.
