Job Description
The Electrical Engineer will support an interdisciplinary team to integrate new equipment into US-based locations. The role involves specifying electrical systems, controlling project expenditures, supervising contractors and vendors, and managing project schedules. The engineer will drive conceptual solutions for production processes and ensure their implementation, prioritizing sustainability and safety in plant concepts.
ResponsibilitiesSpecify and design electrical systems for new equipment integration.Maintain control of electrical project expenditures to prevent cost overruns.Supervise contractors and vendors during project implementation.Manage project schedules effectively.Drive conceptual solutions for production processes.Ensure sustainability and safety in all plant concepts.Essential SkillsPLC programming expertise.Strong project management skills.Knowledge of electrical codes.6+ years of experience in a US manufacturing facility (heavy industrial).Experience with US manufacturing codes and standards.Technical project management experience.Allen Bradley experience.Robotics proficiency.Siemens PLC experience.Additional Skills & QualificationsSiemens Step7 - WinCC programming experience preferred.Experience with AC/DC variable frequency drives (VFDs) from Siemens, ABB, Toshiba, etc.Work Environment
The role involves 25% travel across 40+ sites and follows an 8am-5pm business casual work environment. After six months, there is an option to work from home one day a week, subject to managerial approval. The team consists of six individuals, offering an opportunity to work with over 40 manufacturing sites in a growing team.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $120000.00 - $130000.00/yr.
