**Duration: 12-month contract** **Job Description:** + This position will work with other team members to manage, modify, and develop computer systems required to manufacture optical fiber. + The position will also participate in or occasionally lead projects to meet the plant's objectives, drive cost reduction efforts and participate in capacity expansion efforts. + Assist team of engineers to provide production support and troubleshooting for 24/7 manufacturing operation. Work with production associates, technicians, and engineers to ensure reliable equipment operation via automated control systems and user interfaces. + Support process and product optimization/improvement efforts. + Provide training for engineers and/or production associates as needed for new processes, equipment, or control systems. **Experience:** + 5+ years in a technical role or relevant experience + Ability/experience integrating computers into manufacturing processes to increase efficiency and lower cost + MS Windows, iFIX, EthernetIP I/O, Microsoft Office.
