Controls Engineer
Job Title: Controls EngineerJob Description As a Controls Engineer, you will be responsible for reviewing, programming, and troubleshooting Allen-Bradley PLC logic. Your role will involve debugging for proper content, error-proofing, and ensuring data collection functionality. You will lead continuous improvement projects, participate in lean plant floor layout, and review and approve electrical and controls schematics along with assembly systems BOM. Responsibilities + Review, program, and troubleshoot Allen-Bradley PLC logic for proper content and error-proofing. + Lead and manage continuous improvement projects. + Participate in lean plant floor layout, focusing on value-add, error-proof, visual factory, and Kan BAN material flow. + Review and approve electrical and controls schematics and assembly systems BOM. Essential Skills + Experience with RSLogix 5000 and RSLinx. + Proficiency in developing PFMEAs, Operation Instructions, Controls Plans, and Process Flow Charts. + Experience with lift assists and pneumatic devices such as valves and cylinders. Additional Skills & Qualifications + FANUC robotics experience. Work Environment The role is based in a manufacturing and electrical environment where you will work with advanced technologies and equipment such as PLCs, automation systems, and robotics. The position requires collaboration on the plant floor to improve processes and systems. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $60.00/hr.
