Main responsibilities:Position may be responsible for operational controlling activities for sales/gross to net and/or Industrial costing and or operating/capital expensesPartner closely with Finance Business Partners across GBUs, to provide cohesive and seamless support to Business LeadersEnsure accurate and timely monthly closing and share monthly results with Finance Business Partners as well as Budget OwnersPrepare monthly commentary to explain variances between actual results and/or budget and forecastsEnsure business owners are executing the budgeted plan, including tracking actuals, approval of projects & providing direction to business ownersDevelop Opex and headcount forecasts for designated areas, in partnership with FBPs and Budget OwnersOversee and ensure opening and closing of projects as well as the timely capitalization beside compliance with Sanofi methods and procedure regarding Asset ManagementEnsure Standard Cost are calculated, POV analyses are followed, and manufacturing performance monitoredIdentify risks and opportunities that affect the achievement of these forecastsTrack headcount on a monthly basis and compare to budgeted and forecasted vacancy rates, including trend analysis for key drivers of changeTrack all assumptions built into budget and forecastsApprove project spend and ensuring projects are budgeted properly, challenging where necessary  Continuously challenge legacy ways of working, status quo; identify gaps, and recommend new ways of workingIncrease Financial and business acumen Ensure compliance with pertinent SOX controls Ensure compliance with all internal control requirements   Promote efficiencies and improved ways of working across designated region and ensure best practice sharing   Educate client groups on all aspects of financial policies and processes to ensure compliance    Support all key Finance initiatives     Ad hoc projects and analyses as required

About you

Experience:3+ years of diversified financial controlling experience

Soft skills:Demonstrated results building partnerships with multi-levels across businesses requiredMust have the ability to influence and shape business decisionsMust have high attention to detail, quality and proven ability to operate effectively under pressure and strict deadlines Ability to lead through influence including demonstrated facilitator skillsStrong organization skills: ability to track and manage a high volume of projects at a detailed levelAbility to develop a rapport and credibility with key stakeholders Ability to work effectively across international work streamsDemonstrated organization savvy and self- awareness   Adaptable and able to work in complex matrix environmentChange agent who can propose, lead, and drive changes

Technical skills: Advanced Excel skills: must be able to download data and use pivot tables, V-look ups, macros, etc.Demonstrated experience modeling ethical behavior in challenging situations requiredStrong analytical capabilities with attention to detail and strategic thinkingProven experience working across multiple internal stakeholdersTechnology savvy, business orientation, and agile learning abilities requiredCapable of working in multiple systems and toolsSolid grasp of evolving Sanofi technology platforms, processes, and controls including SAGA

Education:  Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance or any related field is required

Preferred: MBA and/or CPA Pharmaceutical and public accounting experienceCommercial Finance and Gross to NetTM1 and SAP experience

Languages:Excellent English and German
