In this role, you will have the opportunity to provide reliable and timely analysis of financial results, budgets, and forecasts. Each day, you will support the ABB Group management and other stakeholders at various organizational levels in decision-making processes. You will also showcase your expertise by verifying costs and revenues, managing accruals and provisions, processing and analyzing Excel files, and performing key financial tasks such as budgeting, booking entries, and reporting. Additionally, you will support the evaluation of the impact of strategic, financial, or other major investment decisions by gathering and consolidating information from multiple stakeholders.

This role is contributing to the Controlling & Planning Team Leader in Poland. Main stakeholders are ABB managers of the electrification business in Germany.

Key Responsibilities:

Ensuring the execution of financial processes, tasks, and projects while setting team goals and maintaining high performance standards

Verifying costs and revenues, aligned with internal procedures and compliance requirements

Collaborating with business controllers and stakeholders in Germany to gather data, align expectations, and drive continuous improvement in business performance

Supporting financial reporting cycles, budgeting, forecasting, and preparation of accruals, provisions, balance sheets, and income statements

Validating the accuracy and completeness of financial data and business information, ensuring alignment with organizational policies

Providing key insights to management by collecting, processing, and summarizing financial data in Excel, preparing presentations, and recommending actionable solutions

Ensuring service delivery meets defined SLAs and KPIs through consistent monitoring and quality control

Optimizing team efficiency by promoting process automation, eliminating duplication, standardizing reports, and aligning practices across divisions and regions

Implementing and maintaining robust financial controls and processes, with regular SOP updates and comprehensive audit trails

Qualifications:

You are immersed in financial analysis tools and methodologies and the corporate finance and controlling market

You have 4–5 years of experience in financial planning, budgeting, reporting, and controlling

Possess an enhanced knowledge of accruals, provisions, income statements, and balance sheet management

You are qualified in using Excel for data processing, SAP for accounting, and financial reporting platforms

You are passionate about stakeholder communication and problem-solving

You are innovative around process optimization and cross-functional collaboration

Degree in Finance, Controlling, or a similar field

You are at ease communicating in English; German is a plus

You hold current VISA/work permit valid in Poland
