Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Controlling Analyst to join our team in Monterrey, Mexico. As a key member of our Controlling department, you will play a crucial role in providing accurate financial analysis, supporting decision-making processes, and driving operational efficiency.

Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including budgets, forecasts, and cost variations related to materials, labor, and operationsExecute Variable Cost Calculations (VCCs) for new projects and establish/update standard costs, ensuring alignment with SAP data and expected marginsCollaborate with manufacturing and engineering teams to identify and track cost-saving opportunitiesSupport the plant leadership team with cost center reporting, variance analysis, and ad-hoc financial reportsPerform product costing activities and prepare quarterly product cost informationAssist in month-end closing processes, including journal entries and productivity metrics calculationsParticipate in inventory management activities, including cycle counts and fixed asset tagging

 

QualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related fieldMinimum of 2 years of experience in financial analysis, preferably within a manufacturing environmentProficient in SAP systems and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, particularly ExcelStrong understanding of finance and accounting principles, with emphasis on cost accountingExperience with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysisExcellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detailAbility to communicate effectively and collaborate across different cultures and departmentsStrong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentFluency in English
