As\na Controllership Manager, you will work in a business facing role on the financial systems\nteam, responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering systems\ninitiatives in Blackline/SAP/HFM solutions. You will be responsible for\nthe design, implementation, and management of financial reporting Systems. This\nrole is actively involved process optimization, develop requirements, create\nroadmaps, and manipulate, and manage data connections, tool workflows,\ntemplates, and permissions to deliver meaningful transformation leveraging\nfinancial reporting and dashboards
Key Responsibilities:
Significant knowledge of accounting\n and finance best practices and experience participating in, or leading,\n transformation projects to help stakeholders optimize all elements of\n their accounting and finance organizationDocument and maintain clear, concise\n functional and technical specifications for financial reporting\n applications and business system processes and cross functional support to\n IT team to write custom Business Rules and/or Calculation Scripts for\n custom logic to facilitate automation opportunitiesBe the change agent and evangelize\n the technology solutions and provide required training to Finance\n groups Provide technical insight into the\n determination of technical inadequacies and/or deficiencies that affect\n the functional area’s ability to support and meet organizational goalsCollaborate with technology and\n functional leaders to create a technical roadmap for enterprise-based\n productsDrive standardization of tools,\n processes, and reporting solutions that facilitate key business insights\n across the division through collaborative partnerships with finance\n function and corporate teamsExperience with various Blackline\n modules; development and implementation are requiredDemonstrated experience with:\n refining organizational design; business process analysis and process\n mapping to improve the effectiveness, efficiency and control of\n transactional and decision support processes; consolidations and\n shortening the financial close; implementing financial close and account\n reconciliation technology; designing and implementing corporate\n performance management.Build cross-functional relationships\n and work collaboratively across functions to coordinate completion of\n cross-functional deliverablesPerform an As-Is/To-Be Gap Analysis\n to identify differences between business process flows as they are now,\n and what they will be in the future. Make comprehensive recommendations\n covering all aspects of implementing the new processes. Provide an executive summary to\n address the performed analysis, possible strategies to address risk, and a\n risk mitigation planCoordinate with stakeholders and/or\n technical staff to resolve issues with software applications.Design, develop and establish KPIs\n to monitor analysis and provide strategic insights to drive growth and\n performanceAnalyze data in support of proposed\n projects, business cases, and system requirements.Drive continuous innovation and\n communication to both your operations & other business partners.Support overall data strategy of centralization,\nconsistency, automation, and visualization. Consider data as a key strategic\nbusiness asset and seek to enhance and optimize wherever possible.#LI-Hybrid
YOU MUST HAVE:
Bachelor’s degree in Information\n Systems / Computer Science / Engineering or Finance.English ProficientExperience with Workiva, and various\n Blackline modules, SAP; development and implementation is required5+ years’ practical work experience in\n Finance, IT, Project Management, Consulting or Accounting roles.1+ years management experience,\n managing a direct or matrix team in defining responsibilities, setting,\n and tracking deliverables and prioritizing and executing projects.Strong knowledge of controllership\n activities, with a process improvement mindset. Demonstrated work\n experience with corporate financial systems SAP, ERP, Management Reporting\n and Financial Consolidation processesMicrosoft Office (Strong proficiency\n in MS-Excel, PowerPoint)Excellent communication skills, both\n verbal and written, with a customer service focus. Strong interpersonal skills with\n ability to work and collaborate withWE VALUE
Proficiency in Excel (macros, index,\n conditional list, arrays, pivots, lookups) and SQLAbility to display complex\n quantitative data in a simple, intuitive format and to present findings in\n a clear and concise manner.Capable of investigating, familiarizing,\n and mastering new data sets quickly.Vision and drive to evaluate\n processes for efficiency and effectiveness and continuously improveStrong analytical skills needed to\n synthesize large quantities of data, identify trends and drivers, and\n distill them into insightful analysisAbility to build partnerships,\n influence decisions, and work in a collaborative styleAbility to learn new tools and\n systems to ‘super-user’ levels.
