Description We are looking for an experienced Controller to oversee financial operations for a multi-location organization in Orlando, Florida. This role involves managing complex financial processes, supporting profit centers across multiple divisions, and ensuring the accuracy of financial reporting. You will play a critical role in driving strategic decision-making by providing valuable insights and comprehensive financial oversight. Responsibilities: • Supervise the preparation and consolidation of financial statements for multiple divisions. • Develop and implement budgeting and forecasting strategies to support organizational goals. • Provide detailed financial analysis and reporting to assist in strategic planning. • Collaborate with division presidents to manage profit center performance and growth. • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations within manufacturing and construction industries. • Build and maintain advanced financial reports using Excel and other tools. • Oversee percentage of completion accounting for construction projects. • Work closely with the organization’s leadership to provide financial guidance and recommendations. • Monitor financial operations across multiple locations to ensure accuracy and efficiency. Requirements • Must be a CPA and have a minimum of 10 years of experience in financial management or accounting roles. • Expertise in preparing consolidated financial statements and managing complex reporting structures. • Strong proficiency in budgeting and forecasting processes. • Familiarity with accounting practices in the construction and manufacturing industries. • Advanced Excel skills, including report building and financial modeling. • Experience with percentage of completion accounting. • Proven ability to collaborate with senior leadership and provide strategic financial insights. • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
