Description We are looking for a highly skilled Controller to oversee accounting operations across multiple locations. This leadership role involves managing financial processes, developing procedures, and ensuring accurate reporting while collaborating with corporate and operational teams. Responsibilities: • Supervise and manage all accounting functions for four locations, ensuring consistency and accuracy. • Develop and implement processes for accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) to improve efficiency and reliability. • Perform monthly reviews of income statements and balance sheets, preparing detailed reconciliation workbooks. • Collaborate with corporate accounting teams to streamline data and ensure uniformity across systems. • Provide financial insights and support to the Operational Manager, addressing questions and reviewing reports. • Document accounting procedures and workflows to maintain clarity and compliance. • Assist in audit preparation by gathering necessary documentation and responding to inquiries. • Organize and clean up billing processes while ensuring timely bank reconciliations. • Utilize technology and accounting systems to extract, analyze, and present financial data effectively. • Act as a hands-on manager, balancing strategic oversight with operational involvement. Requirements • Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field; advanced degrees or certifications are preferred. • Proven leadership experience, particularly in overseeing accounting functions across multiple locations. • Strong proficiency in accounting software systems. • Ability to thrive in a startup environment, developing and organizing processes from the ground up. • Expertise in AP, AR, bank reconciliations, and billing functions. • Skilled in preparing detailed financial reports and reconciliations. • Experience with audits, including answering inquiries and preparing documentation. • Tech-savvy with the ability to analyze and organize data into actionable insights.
