Oversee the month-end and year-end close process, ensuring compliance with GAAP and internal deadlines.Prepare insightful financial and management reports (P&L by line of business, office location, etc.) to guide decision-making.Manage general ledger functions, daily banking activity, billing, and vendor invoice tracking.Drive collections performance and working capital optimization.Lead the annual audit and tax return process and ensure timely government reporting.Continuously improve ERP systems, processes, and internal controls.Develop and document accounting policies and procedures.Mentor and coach team members in general accounting, AP, payroll, billing, and collections.Partner with leadership on special financial projects to support growth.Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field (CPA or MBA preferred).10–15 years of progressive accounting and reporting experience, including team leadership.Strong knowledge of GAAP and experience managing audits, tax returns, and government reporting.Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables) and ERP proficiency (SAP preferred).Exceptional communication skills and a collaborative mindset.Ability to perform under pressure and meet tight deadlines without sacrificing accuracy.
