This role provides strategic direction, ensures financial compliance, and leads budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning efforts. The controller will work closely with other senior leaders to support business growth and operational efficiency and supervises a three-person finance team. Teledyne ETM employs over 100 people and has an annual revenue of $75 million with plans for future growth. **Key Responsibilities:** + Work closely with General Manager to drive profitable growth, strong cash flow generation. + Drive key initiatives in cost control/reduction, working capital/inventory reductions, process and ERP system improvements. + Ensure effective internal control structure and procedures are in place to meet SOX404 requirements. (i.e. SOX/Controls experience) + Lead timely month-end closing + Annual business planning, monthly forecasting and capital budgeting. + Responsible for preparing reports and analysis of business trends, expenditures against budgets, inventory changes, product cost and progress on Margin Improvement initiatives. + Manage and mentor a three-person team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture. + Provide training and development opportunities to enhance team capabilities. **Qualifications:** + Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (MBA or CPA a plus). + Good Aerospace Defense accounting experience + Experience in projects and estimates at completion + Strong operational background + Public company experience a plus + Merger and acquisition background a plus + US GAAP reporting + Strong P&L and Cash Flow management + Advanced Microsoft Excel skills + Experience with Hyperion, OneStream, XA, SAP or other major ERP + Must be able to travel 25%. + U.S. Person for access to ITAR-Controlled Technical Data **Preferred Attributes:** + Highest standards of accuracy and precision + Highly organized and self-motivated + Excellent verbal and written English communication skills + High integrity and commitment to ethical practices + Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills + Collaborative mindset with a hands-on approach + Comfortable communicating with all levels of management + Demonstrable interest in constant process improvement **Required Skills** + Knowledge of accounting, budgeting, forecasting, government contracting and cost control principles including generally accepted accounting principles + Knowledge of ASC606 revenue standards. + Experience with Hyperion, Onestream, XA, Oracle, SAP or other major ERP + Advanced computer proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel & PowerPoint) + Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. + Highly developed detail organization, initiative, problem solving and analytical skills. + Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure. + Ability to work weekends and evenings as needed for workload. + Display exemplary ethics and business conduct and perform work cognizant of safe work practices. **Salary Range:** $150,400.00-$200,500.000 **Pay Transparency** The anticipated salary range listed for this role is only an estimate.
