Job Description
We are seeking a highly driven Cost Accountant or Controller to join a dynamic manufacturing environment. This individual will play a critical role in reducing operational costs, driving productivity initiatives, and managing annual budgeting cycles. ResponsibilitiesLead the budgeting process, collaborating cross-functionally.Oversee all financial operations including budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and cash flow.Analyze and reduce costs across procurement, scrap, labor, and technical processes.Generate regular and ad-hoc payroll and operational cost reports.Conduct detailed financial analysis to support operational leadership and business decisions.Partner with quality, engineering, and supply teams to implement continuous improvement projects.Provide financial forecasting, reporting, and performance insights for leadership.Maintain GAAP compliance and manage internal financial controls.Utilize ERP and spreadsheet tools to manage and present financial data.Essential Skills5+ years of cost accounting experience in manufacturing.ERP experience (SAP, Oracle) with SAP preferred.Advanced Excel proficiency.Proven success improving cost efficiency across departments.Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance.Additional Skills & QualificationsCPA or CMA certification.Experience with Power BI or Tableau.Work Environment
The position operates on a Monday through Friday schedule, from 8 AM to 5 PM. The role involves having your own office space but requires spending time on the production floor often.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $110000.00/yr.
