Description We are looking for an experienced Controller to oversee financial operations and ensure compliance with accounting standards. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with expertise in document management and financial reporting. Responsibilities: • Manage and oversee all aspects of financial reporting, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards. • Supervise document control procedures, including scanning, organizing, and maintaining records. • Develop and implement efficient systems for compiling and managing financial documents. • Ensure the timely preparation of financial statements and reports for internal and external stakeholders. • Collaborate with other departments to streamline document workflows and improve operational efficiency. • Conduct regular audits to verify the accuracy and completeness of financial records. • Provide leadership and guidance to the finance team, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence. • Analyze financial data to support strategic decision-making and identify opportunities for cost savings. • Maintain and update financial policies and procedures to align with industry best practices. • Stay current with changes in accounting regulations and ensure compliance across all operations. Requirements • Minimum of 7 years of experience in financial management or related roles. • Proven expertise in document control and scanning processes. • Inventory and Cost of Goods Sold experience. • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation with an active license. Preference is being given to candidates with public accounting experience • A foundation of tax knowledge. • Proficiency in financial software and tools. • Ability to lead and mentor a team effectively. • Strong communication skills to collaborate across departments and with external stakeholders.
