Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Controller to join our team. The Controller will be responsible for generating and presenting financial reports, overseeing the month-end close process, and analyzing financial performance indicators. This role requires strong analytical skills, leadership abilities, and the capability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities include:
Generate and present financial reports on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis, including detailed variance analysis to explain business trends and performance.Oversee the month-end close process, ensuring timely and accurate financial results; review and approve journal entries and account reconciliations.Analyze financial performance indicators such as revenue, cost of goods sold, gross margin, operating expenses, and working capital; provide actionable insights to leadership.Lead the coordination of forecasting and budgeting activities across departments; communicate projections related to sales, profitability, and cash flow to stakeholders.Partner with operations teams to monitor and report on key performance metrics, including cost efficiency, process improvements, and product development initiatives.Optimize working capital by managing receivables, inventory, payables, and other balance sheet components.Supervise inventory valuation processes, including standard costing, bill of materials accuracy, and overhead allocation; ensure appropriate reserves for obsolete or excess inventory.Review capital investment proposals and conduct financial modeling to support decision-making.Ensure compliance with internal accounting policies and evolving financial reporting standards; provide training and guidance as needed.Maintain a strong internal control framework and ensure adherence to regulatory compliance requirements.Support both internal and external audit processes with timely and accurate documentation.Contribute to the preparation of consolidated financial reports for broader organizational reporting.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $170000.00 - $200000.00/yr.
