Our client is seeking a talented Controller to provide oversight and management of their accounting operations. This critical role will focus on ensuring daily financial operations are seamless, accurate, and aligned with organizational objectives, while also serving as a trusted resource and servant leader to the team.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Oversee and review all accounting operations, including daily financial activities, revenue recognition, and payroll.
+ Manage and maintain accurate and timely financial records, general ledger support, and compliance.
+ Lead the month-end and year-end close processes with efficiency and accuracy.
+ Prepare the organization for the annual financial audit.
+ Collaborate with the Senior Director of Finance to prepare and present monthly financial reports to organizational leadership.
+ Play a key role in team collaboration, offering hands-on support while fostering a positive and productive work environment.

Requirements
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or financial management roles.
• Proficiency in revenue recognition, general ledger, and payroll processes.
• Experience managing month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Knowledge of preparing annual audited financial statements.
• Familiarity with Blackbaud and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Strong understanding of financial compliance and regulatory standards.
• Excellent organizational and analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
