Responsibilities

Key Risk is looking for an experienced financial professional who will provide leadership and management of the financial reporting, planning and analysis for a growing workers compensation monoline insurance company.    This position will assist the management team with, profitability analysis, short- and long-term forecasting, executing on innovation initiatives and other special projects.

 

Key Functions will include but not be limited to:

Direct management of corporate GAAP & Statutory and internal management reportingAnalyze operating results on a monthly, quarterly and annual basisOversee daily operations of the Finance department performing transactional accounting consisting of billing and cash receipts processes and reinsurance accountingMonitors expenses and suggest productivity improvements and/or expense saving initiativesEnsure compliance with local, state, and federal reporting requirementsWork with department managers to develop the annual budget and planDevelop forecasting models to assist Senior Leadership with business decision supportDirect financial and SOX audits and provide recommendations for procedural improvementsPerform financial analysis of insureds to assess credit risk when requested Qualifications Bachelor’s degree (Accounting or Finance) or equivalentCPA certification preferred15+ years’ accounting experience, insurance industry7+ years management experienceMicrosoft Office (particularly MS-Excel, Power BI, Power Automate)Experience with PeopleSoft general ledger and Hyperion reporting preferredExperience with Freedom Reinsurance System or similarSome SQL experience is desirable Additional Company Details We do not accept any unsolicited resumes from external recruiting agencies or firms.
