Kforce has a client in Framingham, MA that is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Controller to support their growing accounting team. This role will play a key part in overseeing the general ledger close process, developing and documenting accounting procedures, and ensuring accurate financial reporting-especially as we prepare for a new product launch. Key Responsibilities: * Lead and oversee the monthly general ledger close process, including review and approval of journal entries and reconciliations * Develop, document, and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for accounting processes * Streamline and enhance the month-end close cycle for improved efficiency and accuracy * Collaborate with U.S. and international accounting teams to address audit concerns and resolve accounting issues * Support the setup of internal processes and controls related to new product launches * Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting in compliance with GAAP and internal policies
