Position Summary:
Seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Controller to lead our client's accounting operations. This role will oversee financial reporting, internal controls, budgeting, and regulatory compliance, ensuring the financial integrity of the organization. The ideal candidate will bring deep knowledge of GAAP, strong leadership skills, and prior experience in the financial services industry.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead all accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, and month-end closeOversee preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAPManage budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes in collaboration with executive leadershipDevelop and maintain robust internal controls and accounting policies to safeguard assetsCoordinate and manage external audits and tax filingsSupervise and mentor accounting staff; provide training and development opportunitiesAnalyze financial performance and key metrics to drive business insights and decision-makingMaintain accurate documentation and reporting for audits, investors, and stakeholdersOversee accounting for complex transactions including securitizations, servicing rights, and structured finance (if applicable)

Qualifications:
