This role is essential in ensuring precise financial reporting, maintaining compliance with regulations, and establishing strong internal controls. The Controller will also contribute to financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting, providing valuable insights to support strategic decision-making with the rest of the accounting department. Responsibilities: • Help to supervise and manage accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activities. • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards while maintaining strong internal control systems. • Prepare accurate financial reports and statements for executive leadership and stakeholders. • Help lead the budgeting and forecasting processes to support organizational goals and strategies. • Implement and optimize accounting software systems to improve efficiency and reporting capabilities when required. • Collaborate with executive leadership to provide data-driven insights for strategic planning. • Work with others to develop and refine budget processes to enhance financial planning and resource allocation. • Monitor and analyze financial performance to identify trends and opportunities for improvement. Requirements • Current and relevant accounting experience. • CPA or MBA is a plus • Excellent analytical and communication skills to provide insights for strategic decision-making.
