Description
We are looking for an experienced Manufacturing Controller to oversee financial operations within a dynamic manufacturing environment. This role requires a detail-oriented individual capable of managing financial systems, budgets, and reporting while ensuring compliance with accounting standards. The ideal candidate will play a key role in maintaining the accuracy of financial records and driving efficiency in financial processes.
Responsibilities:
• Supervise and manage all accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activities.
• Conduct thorough auditing processes to ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.
• Prepare annual budgets and quarterly forecasts.
• Develop and oversee budget processes, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and cost controls.
• Perform detailed cost accounting and variance analysis to identify opportunities for operational improvements.
• Manage month-end close procedures, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Coordinate annual inventory processes and ensure proper valuation of assets.
• Prepare Crystal Reports and other financial documentation for management review.
• Utilize Oracle systems to streamline financial operations and maintain data integrity.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support financial planning and decision-making.
• Identify and implement process improvements within accounting and financial services.
Requirements
• Bachelor's Degree, Field of Study: Accounting or Finance (CPA or MBA preferred)
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in Accounting or Finance
• Proven experience in accounting functions, including AP, AR, and general ledger management.
• Strong knowledge of cost accounting principles and variance analysis.
• Proficiency in Oracle systems and Crystal Reports.
• Familiarity with auditing practices and compliance standards.
• Demonstrated ability to manage month-end close processes and budget planning.
• Experience with annual inventory procedures and asset valuation.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and organizational abilities to collaborate effectively with teams.
