Description We are seeking a hands-on Controller to lead the financial operations of our client's established but growing Las Vegas based construction company. This is a high-impact role offering the opportunity to be a strategic partner while overseeing the day-to-day accounting activities in a fast-paced, service-driven environment. Key Responsibilities: + Oversee all accounting functions, including general ledger, A/P, A/R, payroll, and job costing + Prepare monthly financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and management reports + Manage cash flow, credit facilities, and banking relationships + Ensure compliance with GAAP, tax regulations, licensing requirements, and other filings + Develop and enforce internal controls, accounting policies, and process improvements + Partner with external CPA for year-end audits and tax preparation + Track project costs and profitability for both service and contract work + Deliver financial insights and reporting to support operations and strategic planning Requirements Qualifications: + Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA preferred + 5–7+ years of accounting experience, preferably in the construction industry. + Strong understanding of job costing, WIP schedules, and revenue recognition + Proficient in accounting and service management software and Microsoft Excel + Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills and the ability to thrive in a small-team environment + Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills For immediate consideration, apply today or contact Tracy Sperry at Robert Half for more information.
