We are recruiting for our next **Finance Controller, CRM Germany to work onsite out of our office in the Hesse Region – Eschborn.** You will lead the financial agenda for Germany. This is a high-impact role at the heart of our business, offering full P&L responsibility and the opportunity to shape the future of our operations in the region. **Your Impact** As the Controller, you will: • Serve as a trusted business partner to the Country Commercial Leader, driving financial performance and ensuring compliance with internal and external standards. • Lead the value creation agenda in Germany, with a strong focus on commercial insight, scenario planning, and risk management. • Play a pivotal role in the implementation of our new organizational structure, collaborating closely with both country and EMEA leadership. • Provide strategic financial guidance on key business drivers including investments, recruitment, bonus plans, and project initiatives. • Champion cross-functional collaboration, influencing beyond your formal scope to drive results across the matrix organization. **What You’ll Own** • Full P&L oversight for Germany, with deep involvement in all value drivers. • Commercial risk management, ensuring transparency of risks and opportunities. • Leadership of strategic projects that extend beyond finance, contributing to broader business success. • A commitment to simplification and standardization, eliminating non-value-adding activities and streamlining processes. **Key Responsibilities** • Accountable for the development and the delivery of all LBE commitments during the year (process as well as content). Ensure strong operational discipline for all finance-driven processes across the organization. • Lead FP&A team operationally and ensure talent development, good career path for top performers • Ensure full financial compliance with all activities in scope. • Identify needs to data to support decisions and drive the decision-making process, ideally to alternative options and scenarios. Enable the commercial leadership to think in the same structure and encourage them to reach out for help. • Provide ongoing standard analysis on all levels of the P/L, mainly revenue, margin and operating expenses. The predominant focus should be on forward-looking analysis and risks/opportunities. Develop mitigation plans where needed to offset risks • Beyond the standard, proactively drive new ways of looking at the results and commitments. Closely collaborate with the country leadership team to drive value creation through FP&A work. Also identify specific projects together with the leadership team to further drive value creation. • Utilize the benefits of the matrix. Take ownership on all tasks that directly influence the P/L and bring the experts to the table across expertise groups and functions. • Support the broader controllership tasks and the needs of the specialist groups in commercially related tasks (internal audits, external audits, tax process changes, inventory management, etc.) • Contribute to a timely dispute, cash discount and accounts receivable resolution by following-up and supporting the relevant HUB and commercial teams on the interface. **Key Requirements** • University degree, preferably in a Business or Finance/Accounting related discipline. • MBA/CPA/CFA preferred. • A minimum of 10 years of finance/accounting experience, preferably in international environment • Proven financial influencing skills at senior management level. Ability to drive change amongst peers and senior commercial leaders. Strong Business Partnering skills. • Proven mastery on large data handling and tool-driven data analysis. Strong experiences with Excel and an established data-cube system and SAP capabilities are a plus. • Fluent in **English and German** • Sufficient accounting and compliance experience to set the tone to the overall organization (e.g. Big4 or Internal Audit experience) • Visible passion for change management • Team player within a matrix organization design • Strong organizational, interpersonal, team management and communication skills • Prior experience in a fast-paced environment / global organization experience • Proactive mindset • Good ability to influence • Very strong analytical skills Join Abbott today.
