Control Systems Engineer
As the Control Systems Engineer you will be responsible for managing, coordinating and developing all aspects of Continuous Emission Monitoring Systems and Distributive Control Systems to ensure the facility is operating in a manner that is safe to human health and the environment. \n

Essential Functions & Requirements: \n\nPrioritizes health and safety by adhering to policies, processes, and maintaining safe practices at all times\nMaintains process-related systems; modifies software and hardware to improve process capabilities\nMaintains communication between DCS\/PLC\/TCPIP based systems\nRegularly performs data analysis to better understand process capabilities\nTrains operations and maintenance personnel in relevant components of computer systems \nSets up, installs and maintains PCs and related software \nCoordinates project activities with government and regulatory agencies \nMaintains ability to be on-call during off hours to support systems as needed \nMaintains the ability to travel to other Arcwood locations up to 10%\nTakes on additional duties as assigned to support the team and organization\n\n

Education:\n\nBachelor's degree in engineering, science or related field (required) \n\n

Experience: \n\n3+ years of experience working with PC operating systems, PLC, DCS and\/or SCADA programming applications (required)\nPreferred Experiences: \n\nVisual Basic\nDatabase programming\nPC\/Server networking\nInstrumentation and industrial control system design \nABB Bailey Infi 90\nAllen Bradley PLC\nRCRA and MACT regulations \nTCP\/IP networking and NT experience \n\n\n\n

Competencies: \n\nAbility to manage multiple tasks and adhere to deadlines with shifting priorities\nExcellent problem resolution, with strong judgment and decision making skills\nStrong written and verbal communication skills to effectively communicate with both internal and external stakeholders\nAbility to lead and work within a team environment\nRegular and predictable attendance to perform the functions and requirements of this role
