Control Systems Engineer **Date:** Apr 30, 2025 **Location:** Taichung, TW, 407 **Company:** Corning **Role Purpose** **Key Responsibilities** **Day to Day Responsibilities:** + Use of control system fundamental via industrial controllers for achieving the desired target of the product/process parameters/attributes. + Analyze control problems and propose solutions on the basis of classical or modern control theory. + Design control system hardware and software for manufacturing process. Develop or modify control systems including data acquisition, data display, control charts and control algorithms. + Conduct electrical design activities, including hardware selection, system structure design, and review of electrical schematic drawings. + Develop control software by defining software functional specifications and programming PLC, HMI, SCADA systems. + Participate in various projects, including capital expansion, new technology development, solution migration, and process control improvement. + Engage in all phases of the project lifecycle, from system design to installation, start-up, training, and technology transfer. + Utilize advanced skills in PLC, HMI, SCADA, automation integration, and data transfer as required by each project. **Experiences/Education - Required** **Experiences/Education - Desired**
