Summary:Diamondback is actively looking for employees to join us in our IOC (Internal Operations Center). The Control Room Operator will proactively monitor and control wells, processing equipment, compressors and alarms during normal operations, abnormal conditions, and emergency response. The Operators will also be responsible to optimize production and organize resources. Serves as the key communication link between field personnel, corporate staff, vendors and interconnects. This position is based in Midland, Texas at a 24/7 operations control room and will report to the Control Room Lead.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Utilize SCADA platforms daily to review instrumentation at facilities and at well locationsReceive, review, and distribute alarms to the correct field personnelFunction as central point of contact for field operations during ESD or shutdown conditionsRemotely start/stop equipment located in field to prevent alarms and/or environmental releasesCompile daily KPI reports for distributionActively work with SCADA Admins to develop enhancements to visualizations, tools, and reportsProvide thorough handover notes to Lead and IOC Operators coming onto next shiftCommunicate regularly with field Foreman and SuperintendentsRequired Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalentOne (1+) years of operating experienceThree (3+) years of oil and gas experienceAbility to work 7-on/7-off, 13-hour rotational shifts including days and nights with occasional travel to field locations. (Including weekends and holidays when scheduled)Preferred Qualifications:
Prior control room experienceExcellent verbal and written communication skillsMotivated to drive efficiencies and learn new technologiesGood administrative and organizational skills.Ability to complete multiple, diverse tasks of differing priorities.Ability to accurately solve problems.Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, supervisors, other departments, officials, and the public.Proficiency in the use and application of the following software: Microsoft Office (Excel, Word & Outlook), Spotfire/PowerBI, Cygnet, IgnitionRelocation:
