**Control Room Dispatcher**

We're looking for a **Control Room Dispatcher** to join our Operations team and play a critical role in keeping the lights on across our communities. You’ll be the key connection between our field crews, cutting-edge technology, and the reliable service our members count on.
**What You’ll Be Doing:**
+ **Monitor & Respond:** Keep a watchful eye on our SCADA, OMS, and ADMS systems, identifying issues before they become problems.
+ **Coordinate Field Crews:** Dispatch the right people to the right place fast. Whether it’s a power outage, hazardous situation, or urgent maintenance, you’ll be ready.
+ **Communicate with Precision:** Serve as the go-to communicator between the control room and field teams. Clear, friendly, and accurate communication is your superpower.
+ **Support System Reliability:** Track outages, update models, and make sure every detail, down to truck numbers and blink counts, is spot on.
+ **Stay Calm in the Storm:** Literally. During major weather events or emergencies, you’ll be part of the critical response team, helping restore service when it matters most.
Skills & Requirements
**What You Bring:**
+ High school diploma or equivalent (associate degree a plus).
+ 1+ year of dispatching or utility operations experience preferred.
+ Knowledge of SCADA, OMS, GIS, or electrical distribution systems is a big bonus.
+ Calm, focused decision-maker—even in high-pressure situations.
+ Strong communication, multitasking, and computer skills.
+ A valid NC driver's license and a good driving record.
**Additional Details:**
+ We are currently seeking a Control Room Dispatcher to fill a **night shift** role, which includes a rotating schedule of 2:00 PM–10:00 PM, 6:00 PM–6:00 AM, and 10:00 PM–6:00 AM, depending on operational needs.
+ Initial training will be conducted during day shift hours to provide thorough onboarding and ensure a smooth transition into the role.
+ As this is a 24/7 operation, flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays is essential.
+ Must reside within 25 miles of the office in Statesville, NC.
+ This is a Job Site Reporting position.
