[業務内容]Responsibilities
Lead the design, implementation, and verification of HVDC Control and Protection systems, with a strong focus on engineering design - not just testing or validationExpertise in SIL, HIL, Commissioning testing to validate C&P system performance. Prepare test plan, procedure, reports from various stakeholders and provide support on customer discussions & internal stakeholders gate reviewsUse AUTOCAD, ECAD equivalent drawing tools for hardware, software architectures, Schematic drawingsknowledge and hands-on experience of MATLAB or equivalent Control system configuration of system logicsSupport the business in Tendering, Operations, Contractual, and After Sales activities, including: HVDC system modelling in PSCAD and RTDS (at least to know how to do minor modification, run & validate simulation cases)- Dynamic performance studies using both offline and online simulation toolsPlay a key role in engineering design reviews and provide technical leadership, identifying potential project risks and technical weaknesses, and proposing safe, reliable, and compliant solutions. Help internal team to provide robust and economically feasible solutionsEnsure project plans include all necessary activities and studies to meet customer and technical requirements, and that technical risks are identified and mitigated according to planSupport improvements to existing algorithms and strategies for power fault recovery or instability issues during dynamic performance studiesSupport the development of new strategies for control, protection, and sequencing (start-up/shut down) to meet customer technical specifications, Protection Co-ordination, HVDC Control modes, etc.,Contribute to continual improvement by introducing new tools, methods, and process improvements, and coordinate with Continuous Improvement leaders.Promote a standard product methodology, seeking opportunities to re-use solutions, improve quality and reliability, and reduce delivery timelines and costs.Knowledge of Substation Automation system, RTU, Auxiliary power system (LV/MV), Ac Substation Protection IED & Control Panels.Foster collaboration across projects and ensure Return of Experience is incorporated.Support Equipment team to prepare Specification for Measuring Equipment, Fiber optic cables, Auxiliary power calculation ratings, etc., from C&P Point of view (not for equipement Electro-technical rating)[勤務地]Work Location 兵庫県 Kobe, Hyogo

Engineering degree or equivalent (including power systems and power electronics), or proven equivalent knowledge of HVDC businessDemonstrated experience in HVDC control and protection system design, implementation, and verification (not just validation or commissioning), with a strong sense of urgency and ability to identify and manage technical risksExcellent communication and client engagement skills: Strong written and verbal communication in English, with experience creating and presenting technical reports, responding to client questions, understanding and communicating customer requirements, and leading technical discussionsTechnical expertise in power systems: Solid understanding of functional characteristics and interactions between AC and HVDC systems; knowledge of HVDC control, protection, and sequencing strategiesHands-on proficiency with configuration & simulation tools: Practical experience using IEC/BCU/RTU Configuration skills, PSCAD and RSCADResults-driven and adaptable: Able to work to deadlines under pressure while maintaining safety, quality, and engineering integrity; flexible with working hours and willing to travel globally to support projects[待遇・福利厚生]
