Control Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Controls Engineer to join our engineering team. This role is ideal for recent graduates or individuals with foundational experience in automation and control systems who are eager to grow their skills in a dynamic and collaborative environment.

Responsibilities Include

- Assist in the design, development, and implementation of control systems for manufacturing and industrial automation projects

- Support the programming and configuration of PLCs, HMIs, and electrical systems

- Collaborate with engineers to troubleshoot and resolve control system issues

- Participate in system testing, commissioning, and validation activities

- Maintain documentation including wiring diagrams, control schematics, and technical reports

- Ensure compliance with safety standards and industry regulations

- Provide technical support during installation and startup phases

Must Have

- Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation preferred

- Basic understanding of PLC programming (e.g., Allen-Bradley, Siemens) and HMI development

- Familiarity with industrial control components such as sensors, actuators, and VFDs

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

- Effective communication and teamwork abilities

- Willingness to travel to client sites as needed

Nice to Have

- Internship or co-op experience in controls or automation

- Exposure to CAD software for electrical design

- Knowledge of networking and industrial communication protocols (e.g., Ethernet/IP, Modbus)

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
