Contracts Support Team Lead

About the role:


Lead team of Contracts Support Assistants who provide administrative and professional support to internal and external clients through the timely processing of legal administrative functions. 

What you’ll do: 

1. Participate and ensure below activities are completed within designated SLAs:

Responsible for monitoring and managing global email in-boxes that provides direct support of Global sales teams.Responsible for collation of data from Gartner’s agreements to be entered into our Contract systems while recognizing non-standard terms that required approvals.Liaise with internal associates in relation to contract requests, service descriptions and frameworksRespond to all emails, live calls and voice mails within each business day.Manage legal/contract requests and work with others as required to meet individual and group objectives and deadlines.Suggest process improvements to provide greater support and coverage for salesComplete other tasks as required.

2.Manage training materials and tools used in daily routine.  Interface with SMEs to maintain database up-to-date on a monthly basis.

3. Interview, train, motivate and performance manage team of Support Associates.  This includes timely completion of performance reviews and Individual Development Plans.

Ability to tactfully handle any escalations or complaints.  Include manager, as appropriate.


What you’ll need:

Degree with major field of study in Law and/or business administration

Minimum four to five years’ experience of working in (preferably contracts/documents) administration department of an international firm or intellectual property based business gained after college.Minimum 2-3 years’ experience managing a team.Proven track record in leading a diverse team in a high-paced environment.As the first point of contact for many Gartner clients and internal associates, it is imperative that this person be extremely professional and customer service oriented, in order to ensure a positive client experience. Minimum two years’ experience of working in (preferably contracts/documents) administration department of an international firm or intellectual property based business gained after college.Experience and adaptability in a fast paced work environment preferably in client service with the ability to prioritize work load based on value of business to Gartner versus complexity of legal terms review.Experience & proficiency with Microsoft Office and database systems.Experience handling multiple priority activities/projects at once within allotted SLA.Good understanding and knowledge of the IT industry.Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills.Excellent English verbal and written communication skills, incorporating requirements, action plan and timeline when communicating with internal subject matter experts.Process-driven, methodical, organized and pays strong attention to detail.Be able to work autonomously (i.e., high degree of self-reliance/self-starter)Team player with good time management skills.
