The Contracts Team is a division of the Corporate Legal Department and is responsible for facilitating the overall contracting process, including review, drafting, negotiation, approval, execution and data management related to all client and procurement contracts and legal documents executed by the organization. The Specialist is integral to this process and performs or assists with the following essential job duties:
JOB FUNCTIONS
Perform Initial review of contract requests and coordinate with internal contract requesters to ensure complete and accurate submission/documentation. Review contract documents to verify compliance with current standards or identify deviations and coordinate with designated subject matter expert to obtain input/approvals. Draft and/or revise, with legal oversight and approval, legal/contract documents such as MSAs, SOWs and amendments. Assist with client discussions, redlines and negotiations. Secure final leadership approvals and facilitate execution. Assist with population and maintenance of data repository. Perform other contract review and administration function. Assist with special contracts and/or legal team projects. Other duties, as assigned.JOB REQUIREMENTS

Strong analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills: ability to review and navigate legal documents quickly and efficiently to identify key terms.Strong communication skills- ability to effectively and professionally communicate with internal and external stakeholders, both verbally and in writing.Ability to work autonomously at times with little oversight of daily functions. Recognizing when to solicit help and feedback from team colleagues, team lead and manager.
